Mr. Davinder Paul Singh

Experienced executive with two decades of track record of setting up and managing many large financial services businesses as a P&L head. He comes with strong abilities to consistently deliver revenue and profitable growth in highly competitive, fast paced, high volume environment. He has a strategic bent of mind where differentiated approach, significant growth opportunities and profitability comes ahead of routine delta improvements.
In his last assignment at ERGO India Representative Office, he was responsible for setting up and managing ERGO’s life insurance foray into India. In his role as Senior Representative and earlier as Chief Distribution Officer he was responsible for Business, Sales, Channel Development, and Marketing and Training strategy for this business. In addition, he has supported the ERGO International for Life insurance expansion into South East Asia and Global Digitalization Project.
Before joining ERGO, he worked with DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance (DPLI) as Chief Business Officer of the company responsible for overall Sales & Distribution (all channels), Training and Product Development. Previous to DPLI, he has been associated with companies like ICICI Bank Ltd (India’s second largest bank and largest private sector bank) as Business Head - Personal Loans & Mortgage, Max NewYork Life Insurance as Head of Products, Citibank as Head of Insurance Business & Asset Financing and GE Capital.
Davinder holds a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology and has done his Master’s in Business Management from XLRI. Over the years he has created and developed many differentiated businesses and has been awarded with various awards at multiple forums.
